published: Monday, July 01, 2024 13:42 UTC

A Minor Geomagnetic Storm (G1) Watch is in effect for June 28th. A coronal mass ejection (CME) occurred early on June 25th and analysis indicates the potential for a partial arrival at Earth on Friday, June 28th. Should the CME arrive at Earth as a glancing blow, G1 conditions become likely. Forecast confidence in an Earth-directed component of the CME is low to moderate.
