Filament Eruption on 14 Jan 2016
A filament eruption was observed taking off just south of center disk late on 14 Jan 2016. The resulting partial-halo CME was observed in coronagraph imagery (displayed image). Subsequent WSA-ENLIL modelling of the events shows a weak glancing blow possible early on 19 January (UTC day). Only active periods (Less than G1-Minor) are expected with the arrival of the CME.
