Return to Quiet Conditions Ahead
Solar activity has been very low and as of 2 November, there are no sunspots present on the visible disk. The current forecast is calling for very low solar activity levels to continue over the next three days (3-5 November) due to a lack of sunspots. Geomagnetic activity is expected to be primarily quiet to unsettled, with a chance for an isolated active period, the next three days (3-5 November) as the solar wind environment becomes less disturbed due to a lack of influential coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS) features.
